DAY 2:

Lujan de Cuyo Wine Tour

Familia Cassone Tour and Premium Tasting — This is a family-owned and family-operated winery with deliciously complex varietals and a classical style. You may get to meet the owner, Federico, as he loves to meet those who visit. This is a great way to start the day. You will also get to try their delicious olive oil and we will accompany it with some regional cheeses!

Mendel Tour and Premium Tasting — This is a rustic winery where you will be greeted by Silvina – one of my favorite hosts in the industry. She is passionate and knowledgeable and will be sure to give you any and all info you are looking for. Also, the wines at Mendel are some of my all-time favorites! They also have a wonderful olive oil!

Vistalba 5-course Wine-Paired Lunch — This is a beautiful, elegant winery that is owned by the famed Pulenta family. They have a medium-sized production and their facility is quite impressive. This will make for a great contrast to your first two wineries and will allow you to end the day with some truly delicious wines perfectly paired with each course of their innovative menu.

DAY 3:

Private Cooking Class

Casarena Premium Tasting — First we will swing by this beautiful historic winery for a premium tasting of their wines. The building was one of the first-ever wineries in Mendoza over a century ago. Since then it has been restored and is producing top-quality wines with modern-day methods.

Vinorum Winery Private Cooking Class — This is an experience we have created specifically for UA clients. You will be greeted by our host and spend the afternoon with them and a professional chef learning how to make multiple traditional dishes. You will have the beautiful property to yourselves surrounded by vineyards backdropped by the Andes as you sip on the many award-winning wines of the winery. Once you have finished, you’ll sit down to a delicious lunch that you had a very important hand in preparing!

DAY 4:

Explore Mendoza city

Private City Tour with Our Wonderful City Guide — This tour is only about 2 hours and focuses on a bit of history, architecture, food, and culture!

Garage Wine Tasting at a Local Wine Bar — After the tour you will head to the wine bar owned by our city tour guide and enjoy a tasting of premium locally produced wines that you won’t find at just any wine store. These are small production wines and limited edition created by very small projects around the province.

DAY 5:

Uco Valley Wine Tour

Check out of the Hyatt

Pulenta Estate Tour and Premium Tasting — This boutique winery is owned by one of Mendoza’s most influential families and they also produce one of my favorite cabernet francs in all of Mendoza!

Sophenia Tour and Premium Icon Tasting — The price/quality ratio here is excellent. You will be trying their icon level wines which are excellent and this is a larger winery to give you a bit of contrast from previous visits.

La Azul 5-Course Wine-Paired Lunch — This is a very small winery located in the northern part of the Uco Valley. The garage-style winery is whimsical and relaxed. They offer a delicious multi-course lunch that pairs excellently with their bold wines.

Check-in at Hotel

DAY 6:

Horseback Riding in the Valley

This morning our gaucho guide will pick you up from the hotel and you’ll head deep into the valley into the foothills of the Andes to a private estancia. Spend the morning enjoying the views of the valley on horseback with a stop at a beautiful lookout point overlooking the entire valley. Be on the lookout for condors in the sky and guanacos grazing nearby! After your hike, you’ll head back to the ranch for a traditional Argentine BBQ accompanied by great wines and great stories.

DAY 7:

Wine Blending and Lunch in the Uco Valley

Wine Blending Game, Tour, and Tasting at Gimenez Riili — This is a small, family-owned winery and they offer a great blending game where they will get to create their very own blend as well as taste the wines from the winery and tour the property – views here are stunning.

Monteviejo 4-Course Wine-Paired Lunch — This winery is an architectural marvel and the kitchen is run by local famed chef Nadia Haron. The menu is innovative and exploding with regional flavors while the restaurant offers unforgettable views of the surrounding vineyards and the Andes mountains.
